Node Confusion / Does John Lampel have a Nodes Course?

I was able to make my way through this video but struggled a bit due to not understanding Nodes as I should. I do as John says, however the instruction either 1) Works out but I don't understand WHY it produced the result (execution without understanding), or it 2) Doesn't work out because either he didn't say to click at that particular instruction, there is a version/UI difference, or a hotkey I accidentally hit, at which point it's difficult to backtrack where I went wrong as I don't understand Nodes.

When I finally do figure it out, it's always something so simple it's embarrassing; A click to be done WHILE holding Ctrl + Shift or an unticked "Use Nodes" box that was in front of my face the whole time as I needlessly hyper analyzed my node paths for errors when there were none.

Does John Lampel have a course explaining everything about Nodes in exclusivity?

Yes he does, linking you up:

Also don't worry about not understanding everything, I've had to watch courses two or three times before everything sinks in, so don't be afraid to go back and repeat. Just keep on rocking and enjoying it.

OOmar Domenech, Thank you so much! You always have excellent answers. I've added it to my UV and Texturing playlist and will power through it once I finish this course. I made it #2 in order after this course but in front of "Texturing Weapons in Blender and Substance Painter" and "Painting Realistic Wrinkles and Folding Fabric". After the Fabrics class, I should be able to make clothing using Blender and Substance painter. Thank you so much for all the help!

Ah yes, sorry it's not so clear, but it was intended that the materials and shading course is first to introduce you to nodes, and then that gets expanded on in the texturing course. Will make sure the order is more apparent in future versions!
